Public Seder

Dear Fellow Chassidim,

We all know how dear it is to the Rebbe that every single yid be present at a Seder. All the sichos about the fifth child....,

Be'ezras HASHEM this year once again, CLY, in conjunction with Chabad of Brookside, Chabad of Hancock Park and the Aleph Institute will be hosting a seder in Shul for ANY yid who needs a place.

While there is a suggested donation per person, it is just that: a suggested amount, which many are not paying.

The cost for the meal, matzah and wine and other supplies (including renting fridges etc), totals approx $75 per Person per night. Since there are many Yidden who cannot afford to pay, pls consider sponsoring a few Yidden to participate, so we can accommodate the large demand.

To donate online please go to
chabadofla.com/donate
mention "public seder" in the purpose box.

As you begin your seder, you will know that you enabled yet another yid to partake in a seder.

Let's hope we can bring much Nachas to our beloved Rebbe, and that we can be Zocheh to spend Pesach in Yerushalyim with Moshiach!

Shul Security

With the ongoing concerns regarding antisemitic threats and acts of violence, the Shul is implementing heightened security for Yom Tov, including door security guards for davening  and the public seders. In addition, we ask and encourage everyone to stay vigilant. Please do not prop doors open. If someone knocks, look through the peekhole before opening the door.  Do not let your children wander around unsupervised, particularly outside of shul on La Brea or in the alley. If you see someone or something suspicious, please alert security personnel or one of the gabboim. Ignore and do not interact with any agitators who might show up.

Thank you for your help, and IY”H next year we will be safely in Yerushaliyim with Moshiach.

Wishing everyone a kosher and freilechen Pesach.

Ma'os Chitim Appeal

To all Anash of Congregation Levi Yitzchok Sheyichyu,

We would like to thank all of you who have participated in our Ma'os Chitim appeal this year. It is well known how important this is - it is one of the first Halachos in Shulchan Aruch Hilchos Pesach, and the Rebbe would stress the importance of this great Mitzvah as well.

Those who have not had a chance to give can do so on the Shul website www.chabadofla.com/donate go to the drop-down menu under Purpose and select Maos Chitim, or you can just write it in the Note at the bottom of the page.

May all of us have a Freilichen and Kosher Pesach in good health, and we should all merit this year to eat from the Korban Pesach in Yerusholayim with Moshiach.
